Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 3, 2026

1. Scope and definitions

These Terms & Conditions (“Conditions”) govern the contractual use of the Health Connectors Platform by users (people seeking to discover providers) and providers (independent healthcare providers who join the network). They apply together with the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Consent Notice. Where the briefing’s platform-role and no-guarantee statements appear elsewhere, they apply here too.

“Platform” — the Health Connectors website and matching service.

“User” — a person using the Platform to discover and connect with providers.

“Provider” — an independent healthcare provider listed or introduced through the Platform.

“Introduction” — the connection facilitated between a user and a provider.

2. The platform's role

Health Connectors provides an introduction, discovery and matching service only. It does not provide, direct, supervise or assess care, and it is not a party to any healthcare, treatment, advisory, therapeutic or professional agreement between a user and a provider. Any agreement for care is solely between the user and the provider.

3. User conditions

  • Users may use the Platform to discover and connect with independent providers based on the information they provide.
  • Users are solely responsible for choosing, contacting, assessing and engaging any provider, and for verifying that provider’s qualifications, registration, insurance and suitability.
  • Users acknowledge that the Platform provides no medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or guarantee, and is not for emergencies.

4. Provider membership

By applying to join, a provider agrees that:

  • Independence: they are independent from the Platform and remain solely responsible for their own services, advice and treatment.
  • Credentials: they hold all required licenses, registrations, qualifications and permissions, and comply with applicable healthcare laws and professional standards.
  • Insurance: they hold appropriate professional insurance where required.
  • Accurate information: the information they provide for verification and listing is accurate and kept up to date.
  • Verification & screening: they agree to Health Connectors’ verification and screening process, which supports network quality and does not transfer responsibility for their services to the Platform.
  • No platform liability: they will not hold the Platform liable for their own services, advice, treatment, errors, omissions or patient/client outcomes.
  • Indemnity: they indemnify the Platform against claims arising from their services (see Section 7).

5. Fees and payment (providers)

Joining the network is free. [If any verification/screening/integration or membership fee applies, state it here, including amount, VAT treatment, payment terms and refund policy. Current direction: pricing removed from public copy — confirm final position with counsel before publishing.]

6. Membership duration and termination

  • After a successful application, a provider remains part of the network on a lasting basis unless terminated.
  • Either party may terminate membership [on notice / per conditions].
  • We may suspend or remove a provider who breaches these Conditions, provides inaccurate information, or no longer meets the network’s requirements.
  • On termination, the provider’s listing is removed; data is handled per the Privacy Policy.

7. Indemnity

Each provider agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Health Connectors and its officers, employees and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or relating to: the provider’s services, advice or treatment; any breach of these Conditions; or any breach of applicable law or professional standards by the provider. [Counsel to finalise.]

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Health Connectors is not liable for the acts, omissions, services or outcomes of any provider, or for decisions made by users. The Platform provides no guarantee of availability, quality, suitability, outcomes, qualifications, insurance or compliance. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. [Counsel to finalise scope / cap.]

9. No guarantee statement

We do not guarantee provider availability, quality, suitability, treatment outcomes, response times, professional qualifications, insurance coverage or regulatory compliance. Users are responsible for carrying out their own checks before engaging with any provider.

10. Data protection

Processing of personal and health-related data is governed by the Privacy Policy and Consent Notice. Providers who receive user data act as independent controllers and are responsible for their own GDPR compliance in respect of that data.

11. Intellectual property

All Platform content and materials remain the property of Health Connectors or its licensors. Providers grant Health Connectors a limited licence to display their submitted listing information for the purpose of operating the Platform.

12. Changes

We may amend these Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be communicated, and continued use or membership after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of [jurisdiction], unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
