Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your access to and use of the Health Connectors website, platform and related services (the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

The Platform is an introduction, discovery and matching service. It helps users discover and connect with independent healthcare providers based on the information, preferences and search criteria they provide.

Health Connectors does not:

• provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or treatment recommendations;
• provide emergency or crisis support;
• carry out clinical or medical suitability assessments;
• recommend, endorse, rank or guarantee any provider;
• act as a party to any agreement between a user and a provider.

The Platform is not suitable for emergencies. If you believe you may require urgent medical help, contact your local emergency number, your doctor, a crisis service, or your nearest medical facility immediately.

Our tool structures the information you provide into search criteria (such as support category, location, language, availability and provider type) and shows independent providers whose profiles match those criteria. Matching is based on the information you provide — not on any medical judgment. You decide which providers to contact, assess and engage.

All providers discoverable through the Platform are independent. They are solely responsible for their own services, advice, treatment, qualifications, registrations, insurance and compliance with applicable laws and professional standards. You are responsible for verifying a provider’s qualifications, registration, insurance and suitability before entering into any agreement with them.

We do not guarantee provider availability, quality, suitability, treatment outcomes, response times, professional qualifications, insurance coverage or regulatory compliance. Listings reflect provider-supplied information and do not constitute a recommendation. You are responsible for carrying out your own checks before engaging any provider.

When using the Platform you agree to:

• provide accurate information;
• use the Platform lawfully and only for its intended purpose;
• not misuse, disrupt, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform;
• not upload unlawful, harmful or infringing content;
• take responsibility for your own decisions in choosing, contacting and assessing providers.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. [Adjust if accounts are offered.]

The Platform, including its content, branding, design, text and software, is owned by or licensed to Health Connectors and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or exploit it without our permission, except as allowed by law.

Your use of the Platform, and any processing of your personal or health-related data, is governed by our Privacy Policy and Consent Notice. Before submitting health-related information you must give explicit consent, and you confirm you understand the Platform does not provide medical advice or diagnosis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Health Connectors is not liable for: the services, advice, acts or omissions of any independent provider; the outcomes of any care or treatment; decisions you make in selecting or engaging a provider; or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. [Counsel to finalise scope and any liability cap.]

The Platform may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Platform, and may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of [jurisdiction], unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
